The Directorate of Student Services promotes student development and academic success by facilitating the development and implementation of programmes, policies and services that support students’ academic and personal needs. The availability of cafeteria, games and sports courts and other recreational activities, makes Kicukiro College of Technology an ideal place for study and holistic development. There are first aid services and where necessary, referrals can be made to specialized hospitals too. What the Directorate does:

The Directorate of Student Affairs essentially handles the following functions:

1.It serves as student advisor, mentor, advocate and liaison with the administration and faculty on all matters related to student life.
2.It collaborates with students to implement extra-curricular
activities through student clubs and professional organizations.
3.It facilitates orientation and students participation in national and international events.
4.It helps students process medical leave, leave of absence or any necessary paper work.
5.It ensures that the Student Handbook is updated and reflects the policies of the college. Working with the administration and faculty, it updates, interprets and enforces college policies and procedures.
